'59 Chevy Brookwood 2-dr Wagon Project...Solid...very cool
Didn't even know Chevy made a 2-door wagon in '59. This one is pretty solid and comes out of western Colorado via California.

Am I correct in thinking that the 'V' plus the crossed flags on the hood originally meant that it was a 348? Of course I realize that could have been added over the past 60 years, and really a moot point since there's no motor, but just wondering.

I know that would have been the case on a ‘61. Guessing it was the same in ‘59....

They also made a 1960 2dr wagon but that was the last year for a full size 2dr wagon.

My recollection is:
No "V" on hood = 6 cylinder "V" on hood = 283 "V" plus flags = 348
