Wow....really cool toy! .
I sure wrecked lots of my toys as a kid too but am lucky to still have a bunch of them that survived. .
I remember one summer's day specifically, killing the big Dinky School Bus. . In case anyone needs to know, it takes about 20 repetitive shots with a Daisy air-pump pellet gun rifle to penetrate the metal body of one of these babys. . We went through most of a can of pellets doing the job but after an hour or so of work, the bus was full of holes and me and my best buddy felt a whole lot better knowing we'd done our part of somehow warning the yellow beasts to stay away a little longer? .

Looks to be made by Processed Plastic in Aurora Il.It may just have the location under the decal shown on the floorpan in your pic. Directly under the decal it may or may not say Processed Plastics....I have seen them both ways.I have a 67 SS Camaro in a mustard yellow w/factory hub caps....and....a 67 Camaro with a stinger hood, rear spoiler and torque-thrusts...Looks like a neat drive-shaft promo car made from this mfg..COOL !

...many of the models we built ended up with either bottle rockets or M80's strategically placed somewhere near them...

Cool Camaro Les!

And I thought I was the only one that did this
