When I was a kid reading the Dirk Pitt series by Clive Cussler, Dirk lived in something like this.

My wife continues to be a hard sell on the idea.

That price just gets you a 50 year old, four bedroom, three car garage, ranch type house on a 10,000SF lot around here...
