Default Part #2... 1969 Twin Turbo Chevelle Project

Here is the original thread....

https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/showflat...e=0&fpart=1

Greg and I stopped by Mike Gamble`s Rod Shop to see how the progress was coming along.... Nice! Mike and his shop do Great Work!

Now she gets all blown apart and send out for Body work and Powdercoating. I told Greg...I`m driving this to Chevel-Abration 2010....he can drive his other convertible

Greg, how about you jumping on this web site and telling everyone about this unique 1969 twin turbo build. Perhaps you can also post the "Paint Renderings" too.

All side marker lights, door handles and locks are removed.

Both front and rear bumper bolts have been removed...along with front license plate.

Carbon Fiber Air Inserts going in....

Remote door releases

The look of Mark`s face when he opened the box to find the Massive Air Intake was "Priceless" This thing is truly Massive. Now you can understand why the firewall was notched out.

Dan.

If you are going to do a project, there is only one way to do it..... the best that you can. Looks great from this perspective.

this project started out because i have all original chevelles and decided to go pro-touring.this project has been going on almost 2 years with alot of let downs.i wanted a conv. because i love driving them with the top down.thats why i chose the Roadster shop chassis.it is beefy and the DSE front end is unreal.i have an all aluminum BBC 565 under the hood and a tko 600 5-speed.it won't handle all the horsepower the engine makes.i wanted something different under the hood so i went with twin turbos and dealt with Tom Nelson. he had just come out with the billet intake with 16 injectors inside the manifold.i thought this would be trick. the only problem it took a year longer to get the intake than it should of. this set me back a year on this car. tom is a good guy to deal with but must of bit off alittle to much.i have all the turbos mounted,3" stainless exhaust ran with rolled tips.fuel system done and everything fabricated. dan took pics after it was all disassembled and heading to the body shop. i will try and post some renderings of it.

Greg has had these Renderings done now for almost 2 years....this one is our favorite. The interior will not look like this at all...it will be more over the top. What do you guys think!

Feel free to add your comments

That's great Dan! Carter does some great renderings. I've seen a lot of his work over at the Lateral-G.net site!
