Finished the mock up of the quarter and inners. Removed them and prepped them for final welding. The inner is all welded into place. The outer is all ready to be welded. Then onto the quarter. Just a little time consuming.

Driver quarter coming along. Just one small repair required on this side. I test fit the quarter and inners. Just a little more tweaking.

Cool project, did these cars come 4 speed from the factory?
I was in the top secret building next to the Gm Heritage museum and there was one with a 4 speed on the hoist, no one would talk about the car, lol.

----Yes they did. Can't quite remember the #s but Monte's with 4-speeds are out there. I had a 71 big-block version with 3000 original miles quite a while back. What they never built was a Monte SS 454 with a manual trans. Only a small-block version and the 402 cube version like I had.....Bill S
