Amen to that! I remember back in the day, a friend's parents bought a new full size 73 Ford (Galaxie or LTD). Butt-ugly front bumper would seat four of us comfortably.

I keep seeing this car with a set wide slots, more tire on the back and a little more rake. would make a nice driver.

At least those bumpers could take a hit,today's cars one scrape from a shopping cart and your are into a $1000.00 repair/repaint.
