'70 Cougar 428 SCJ/4-sp, Competition Orange
About as good as it gets for the first-gen Cougar...has the right colors and drivetrain options. The only thing better would be to delete the spoiler - personally, I never liked the look. Anyone know if the spoiler was an extra-cost option, or part of one of the performance option groups?

Lots of character in these old cats. I love the blackout on the Eliminators. I had a 428CJ similar to this one (but driver quality) in the grabber green. Ran very well. A mercury dealer wound up buying it for his dealer floor as a magnet.

Brother had a 70 Cougar 351 Cleav 4 spd I believe, remember it being kinda luxurious compared to the Camaros Firebired Chevelles of the day, nice dash
