Default '69 Burgundy Z/28, 427 Transplant, owned since 1970s

Pretty cool car - obviously been repainted the wrong color - and it's had a 427 under the hood for nearly 50 years so why not keep it that way?

The price is way up there for a car like this, but if the seller's willing to work with the buyer maybe there's a comfortable middle ground. Can't beat buying something that has been cherished by the same person for decades and not traded from one person to another, dealer to dealer, etc....

The last sentence kills me...the seller's downsizing because 'time waits for no one.' Indeed, but when I go, I want my kids to take my cars instead....

So it's basically a Yenko - big iron 427 with the Z/28 suspension - minus the 140 mph speedo. Probably a lot more fun to drive than with the 302. Too bad he didn't stay with burgundy.

40K would be a great price point- right?
Could have a blast for awhile "as-is" and collect parts to go back to stock configuration.
Go for full resto back to original if you want in the future.
