Pavilions Rock N Roll Car Show Oct. 16, 2021
If you haven't already heard, Pavilions cruise hours are back to normal, 4PM - 8PM. As usual, many of us arrive much earlier and make a day of it. And with the return to normal hours is a change the cruise format and some of the rules. If you plan to attend with a 1987 or older vehicle, you may park in the south lot, which is the lot next to McDonalds. 1988 and newer parks in the north lot, which is the back lot. Corvette row is now in the north lot. There are dedicated rows for Corvettes, Camaros, Mustangs, MOPARS, and Euro cars back there. Club row has been moved to the front of McDonalds, but there was no club today. No parking is allowed in the aisle between the lots. McDonalds has greatly reduced it's support of this cruise, so the landlord has stepped up. Music and entertainment is now provided by a Wolfman Jack impersonator who is quite good!
This was the third week of the return to normal hours. During the summer, hours were 7 AM - 11 AM. I attended most of these too, but attendance was way down. Truth be told, even in the morning, it was still HOT here! While walking around today, I received a request to post Pavilions photos again. So we'll see how this goes. Toyota Jim's '69 SS 396 Dennis W's Vette 55 rolling in White was the color of the day! Today would have been Oldsmobile night, but they were not parked out front Shaun P's awesome '68 Caprice Continued......................................... .........
