If absolutely true, shouldn't there be some reference to this noted on the Registry here?
Sorry but seeing Jerry papers and other stuff on the Registry as some examples have seems silly if the important facts aren't included?

To uphold the standards of the registry I think information should be shared if validated through credible sources

Good thoughts on the registry including these type of details. Right now, we keep a lot of notes in a confidential section. Interested buyers can ask the group in the public forum here - just like this thread is doing. I'm a little hesitant to put negative comments in print - could expose the registry to litigation when an owner sees it. There's always the argument about - when does extensive metal work equal a re-body? If just the firewall survives - is the car really re-bodied? Age old discussion.

I can move the confidential comments to the public side of the spreadsheet, but Steve would have to be OK with it.

I think it's the Peck car that was left on the side of the road in Arkansas back in the day....

Not the Peck deuce. Peck is 354665 and an auto. And is still in Quincy. Would be interested in a previous owner history, and who did the resto. Looks nice.
