"Crush... That can go bad quickly…."

Agreed. It's the kinda thing we love to see/do, but it can go wrong sometimes. I'm glad it went well.

Unfortunately, I know a guy who lost control and wrecked his 66 Nova leaving a show many years ago, and also happened to hit another car driven by an innocent motorist. No one injured but the Nova driver had consumed several adult beverages during the show and that didn't end well.

What happens if a dog or a kid jumps out which could easily have happened. I think it was in really bad judgement to do that burnout.

I am visiting my daughter who lives in LA. On the news last night they had video of kids illegally closing down streets and having drifting contests. They literally make a circle with humans and proceed to drift with people hanging out of windows. You can imagine the type of carnage that takes place and they showed tons of video of kids getting hit, surprise, cars rolling etc.. it’s so bad they have launched a campaign called “take it to the track” I think that can be applied to all types of racing!
