Sad. Shame there wasn’t a next generation trained and ready to take the reigns. I see this all too often. Hard to find young guys or gals that want to do it and make the financial commitment. Several of our local shops have closed. We still have Ohio George’s shop and fortunately his son is running it now so it hopefully will continue on.

----I remember when Jeg's was just a speed shop. On my way to Ohio U I would go right by Jeg's and always stop in. Got to know Jeg and used to go in his tiny office right inside the front door and shoot the s**t. He's a great guy!

I got to know Jegs sorta by accident about 20 years ago and havent seen him for maybe 10. They bought a farm that had llamas and his wife liked them so they started going to our local events. He didnt know any of the people so we got to talking cars. Nice people. His wife would have a christmas party and cooked most of the food herself. It was a good night

They moved out of nj to Pa last month. Landlord made them move.
