I never met Dave, but echo what others have said...he was much too young. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Great guy. We all knew about his expertise in orig cars, Z16's etc but I was shocked when I saw what he did with that railroad town he built. A true bonus to many people's lives. He made a difference. If we could all do some of the things Dave did this earth would be a better place. R.I.P Dave.

I only spoke with Dave one time on the phone about the red ls5,He wanted to leave the car completly original and was trying to find original tires. He was a great guy and true enthusiest to the end. RIP Dave

Agreed Charlie... to restore and build a running STEAM railroad with track equipment and all is an undertaking men took on in the 1800's not this century... Dave's contributions show just what one man is truly capable of... he is an inspiration to many and in that respect he will always be here...

Very sad news indeed. I never met Dave, but certainly recognized his user name and knew of his work with the Z16 Registry. May he rest in peace.
