Default Spark Plug Heat Shields- Zinc Plated?

I have my original spark plug heat shields for my 72 Nova. These need to be replated. But i dont know what kind of plating was done to these when made new. Was it a silver zinc plating? Or was it something else? If so who knows a good company that does replating for these heat shields? Any input is very appreciated.

I have a set that if I remember correctly, are galvanized. I have many times wondered if what I have is NOS pieces, or from a different year when galvanizing was done from the factory. It would be nice to know the original finish used on these.

I have originals from 70+ Z28 (LT1) and its my opinion that they were stamped & formed from GALVANIZED Sheet Metal....

My Limited Research Shows ONLY ZINC Plated Reproductions being Offered By Vendors such as D&R.............
