Super hard to find because it has the grain in between the 2 lines. 70 is smooth

Semi true. While no 70's had the pebble grain texture on the rim, not all 69's did, I believe it was the result of several suppliers being used.

I have a nice one too if interested.

Chevy was planning to offer an N30 custom steering wheel option for '69 utilizing the pebble-grain wheel. The option was dropped after the wheel tooling was done. Existing inventory was randomly exhausted in regular production.

Don't buy NOS in a sealed carton without seeing it. For a short time they would substitute a '71 B body wheel. Not even close.

Interesting. Source? How was the N30 wheel going to differ from the standard wheel besides the grained rim face seeing how the shroud for the standard wheel was already available with or without woodgrain applique?
