Default Yenko "mylar" chrome sticker

Does anyone know if there was ever a chrome finished Yenko "bars and stars" mylar sticker used anywhere on any of the cars? No color, just a black emblem with a black border on a chrome background. I have a few that I bought many, many years ago from someone who worked for the dealership (can't remember his name). They may have been used as a sticker for the air cleaner, valve covers, trunk decklid, (????). I have 2 different sizes (2 1/4 x 7 and 2 1/4 x 5). If I can figure out how to post photos, I'd be glad to post them here. Drop me a PM (Yenko Charlie), or post an answer here.... Would like to get rid of some before I reach room temperature!! Cheers, Charlie

On the backside of one of the stickers, I found that someone (probably the supplier) had written " Job # 1575 YENKO". There's only one of them....

I don't think those were used on the Yenko cars at least I don't recall seeing them on a car

I have some black and chrome Yenko metal emblems that look like the 60s emblem but are chrome with
black paint in the relief. They were used on some of the Yenko Vegas

I think the black and chrome style graphic was used 1971 and later

The 1981 Yenko Turbo Z used a new Yenko graphic design but did use the old style logo on some of the
brochures

The chrome & black die cast medallions were used on the deck lids of inventory cars both New & Used as the Dealership signature. Somewhere around late 70's I started seeing these & well into the late 80's early 90's these were common.
Yenko sold Chevy's & Honda's along with Used cars on Rt 19, Washington road, McMurray, Pa.
These Mylar Yenko decals may have replaced/superceded the die cast tags..... I do recall seeing many on Cars at auction, inventory and on our used cars that came from Yenko. We sold our store (Marin's Auto Corral) in 1998-99.

Steve, That's the one you have on display!! I guess $7 each or 2 for $10 would be a fair price (either size). Charlie

Good prices Charlie, neat Yenko decals!

Yenko did use a dealer decals, one is a mylar & blue decal (not the crap you see on ebay) and the other was white and blue.

All will be on display at SLS....
