Default Chevy Guy Searching for Long Lost Car

A repeat post from the Chevy Forum (for us non-Chevy guys)

This guy has a search going on eBay.
Has anyone seen his Impala? It was stolen in 1990!

A lot of Impala info crosses my desk. If this car was a '58-'64 I may be able to help. But since the ebay number is no longer any good, perhaps someone could forward the VIN to me and I can check.

Verne

Verne, I don't know who you are or what you do but have you ever heard of a Charlie Collins Chevrolet in Bayonne circa. 1969? My 69 Nova was supposedly bought there but I can't find any info about them. NJ DMV has sent me a title search request form that is on its way back to them and Bayonne chamber of commerce has ignored my emails. Any help greatly appreciated. Sorry to cloud up this thread with my problems and I wish the guy luck finding his Impala. Marc

Marc,
I've been documenting original '58-'64 full size cars since '82. By "documenting", I mean I record all the numbers, codes and features of every original car that crosses my path, either from junk yards or by permission of the owner. I maintain a database with all that info, from roughly 2000 cars so far. But those are the only years I focus on.
Unfortunately, I do not have any recollection or info about Charlie Collins Chevrolet.
I checked a dealer zone list that the NCRS site has created, and it doesn't come up there either. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Verne
