It sounds like a Generic,Bad Grammer response which fits the format of a Scam in the making. But who knows, reply to him & see what he wants to do next.If it is a Scammer, send it to Mac(GOAT72)& let him take it from there.
This could be fun.

Scam for sure. There is no mention of what you are selling. You could be selling anything from a book to an airplane and get the same email. No question about the item. Respond to it and see what he has to say.

This looks like the same kind of e-mail i received from a guy claiming to have an ls6 chevelle and wanted $14000.00 for the car and it was restored, the funny thing was is the car looked an awful lot like a friend of mines i helped sell a year ago. Also,he had the same poor writing and signed his name smith, and also wanted me to send the money over seas!

Al,
Can you PM me the email with the FULL HEADER?

This is the latest.
Africans, mostly Nigerians, are producing fake money orders and sending several thousand dollars "extra." They want you to cash the check and forward the balance to their "shipping agents".

7 days later your bank returns the check to you as bogus and you're out the $$ you forwarded to the agent.

BTW: Just posted my second bait of another eBay scammer.
This guy was "selling" a '67 Camaro.
Then he had this 'Vette.....

Anyway, here's the latest bait thread for anyone who needs a laugh. It has lots of subtle jokes and ridiculous circumstances that the scammer completely fell for.

Explicit Language warning: Do Not Read if Easily Offended

Scam Bait #2- '67 Camaro

Enjoy!

ALbert,
There are a couple of guys baitin' scammers from the SYC now.

if we keep 'em guessing they may throw up their hands.

If you play this guy it's always smarter to use an alias, or throwaway email address, unless you just want to see which way he runs with the ball.

If you receive a check in the mail from him, you will have a TROPHY that most419eater.com baitsmen would kill for!

If anyone else is interested in killing eBay Motors scams, please PM me. I might start a group, as I have several others who are actively seeking these classic cars scammers.

They are VERY busy on Sunday nights at eBay Motors.

Sounds pretty close to the email I got when I was selling our waverunner...the guy was in Africa or somewhere but had a friend in England that owed him money. The guy in England was gonna send me a check for the amount of the waverunner and the balance he owed his buddy in Africa (like 5-grand!)...I was to send the extra $5k to the guy in Africa. Yeah, right...
