Does anyone know this car? Asking for a friend who really wants a 67 RS-SS vert, but is on the west coast.

Not familiar with the car, but that ad sure doesn't give you much to go on. No pictures of hood or underside, does not mention if it has born-with drivetrain, etc. And the addition of the spoilers on a 67 is a bummer.

VIN 124677N240230

This first link has some better pictures also NCRS report w/ Zone 27 Dealer 18, BF Chevrolet, Commack New York.
First pic quarter etc looks questionable but may be cloud reflections as other pics seem better, underside nice + trac bar...

Text below from this second link may be an old sale ad which notes engine original but decked...

Overall, it seems better than auction info/presentation suggests so may be worth looking deeper?

"The car is in excellent shape and drives like it would back in 1967.
It is all orginal. This is a factory RS/SS. Body off restoration about 7 years ago. Everything works fine. I have listed the numbers that I have found for the car below.
The engine is original, but when it was rebuilt, the block deck was milled so the stamp on the block deck is not there.
If you're seriously interested, I can send pictures showing the numbers that are listed below.
VIN - 124677N240230
- Factory SS/RS
-350 cubic inch / 295 HP Engine
- 4 speed manual transmission
- Console and gauge package

I see the subject car sold as below pic, info from Mecum 2015/2017 sales included too.
Any chance your friend made the purchase or any details to add about it if not?

No my friend did not to pursue the car. Considering the transportation cost, the auction fees and the unknown’s he decided to pass and keep looking.
Thanks again for the reply and information on the car.
