Also, '67 L79 Chevelles 6K redline. I would assume that crosses to Corvette and other Chevelle's and Nova's with L79 also. I learn things everyday as well...

It sure did, the L79 Corvette and 390 horse Corvette had 6000 RPM redline.

MJV1953, You are mistaken. 66 390 Cars do not redline at 6,000 RPM. Only 67 L36, and 65, 66, 67 L79 cars redline at 6,000 RPM. The 66 and 67 L36 engines are the same but for some reason 66 L36 engines are conservatively redlined at 5,300 RPM.

My bad, that is what happens when one only looks at the 1967 Judging manual and not the 1966 judging manual also. Thanks
