If you are running a reasonable tire out back, a BB Nova will incinerate rear tires at will and the car wont move, no need for a roll control, take it from me. Don't even need to drop the clutch at 3k, just mash the pedal from a stop. All depends on the tire, I run straight 14" 70's and sometimes it's like they're dipped in Crisco

We are running 245 60's, still no match for the torque but we want the old school look....

What young kid doesn't want a line lock!?!

Also, they really do help you on the line at the drags.

I'm planning to set this thing up so that if he punches the gas, it flops.... I don't want him getting himself hurt.

My dad made the throttle rod long so I did not have full throttle. He did while I was at work so I did not know until much later

Do you guys know what vintage this solenoid style is from? Differs from the Shaw thinner style from this post.

Late 70's early 80's
The earlier stubby style used a stamped solenoid. No decal

No box pic. snagged these off of ebay. trying to get an era correct unit for my '68-'71 era build. I appreciate all the help. thanks for reply. i have a single master cylinder, wasn't sure if this solenoid version was same late '60s era as the skinny shaw speed style, but different/unique because of it being listed for single unit as mentioned on instruction sheet. thanks again.

I never noticed the dual vs single before, but I felt like both versions wereally correct for late 1960's. When are your instructions dated? They clearly illustrate it.
