I really like that car. $14,500 seems fair.

I don't know Scuncio and not sure on this one but it seems that this would be a 50/60K resto at least, if you could do just about everything yourself and possibly more. I've done a couple of Pontiacs and they are not cheap to do. Just my .02 cents, At 5/6K I'd still be scared and absolutely have to love the car and die with it for 14.5K, again just my .02 cents.

I can’t imagine getting a much better car for that money, or getting this car for much less to make those numbers work. I like the car... especially the original paint. What you see is what you get. No surprises! I wouldn’t have to give it a 50k resto to thoroughly enjoy it. A good mechanical once over, do some spot repairs and blend in the paint and you’ve got a car that you can drive and not worry about.

Good point Helmut, sometimes I just get blinded by the thought that everything needs to be brought back to new. With a decent paint job and a light clean up someone will have a nice driver!

It kind of upsets me when I see that someone replaced key original parts, such as carburetor, alternator, clutch fan and others with new parts. If the original parts are still there then that's fine, but to replace originals with new, just to get it running, is a big mistake in my opinion.
