I was thinking that having those pages handy would be what I need to do.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Now to get the car done. It's the one in the back. Interestingly enough, it is also an original black top car.

that shift rod in one of the pics looks similar a manual trans 1-2 rod

Being a 4 speed guy that struck me too. I'd love to hear what they were thinking when it was decided this option was even necessary.

The tires are L-60 on 8" rims. You know they are being replaced with 15x10s and N50s. I'm a Speedway Motors dealer and we carry the Pro Trac and M&H N50s, but I so want a set of M/T N50-15 Indy Profiles.
