Did the guy from Sun Motor Cars have any luck researching the car?

We used PPG single stage gloss black with flattening agent - I'm not overly thrilled with the firewall, but the frame is nice and the core support / fender liners look really nice. It took us a few tries to get the mixing combination figured out.

Never heard from the guy at Sun Motors again, not surprising since I can't imagine the old chevy records from Sunderland are stashed 20 miles away at the Sun Benz/Porsche dealership....

Progress.... It's in the booth, should be rally green in a week or two.

We've been working on vinyl top moldings and just finished the body side moldings last night. Moving on to refinishing the original rear SS panel, original grill and headlight frames....

Nope, we went with the paint since the car is pre-mid '70. The tape came right off once we hit it with a hair dryer....
