Default '72 Pantera Project

The rust on this one worries me - as does the thought of how many parts are missing from the boxes that come with the car, and what those missing Pantera parts would cost to replace.... Still, I don't see many of these out there in project car status.

These cars started rusting as soon as they came of the assembly line. You could get upside down quickly with this one

A guy on my site lives in Finland, he’s doing one. I love those cars.

----The trip across by boat really didn't help either. My cousin bought a new 72 (happened to be yellow) and the front windshield header rusted thru the 2nd year he had it. The car was put in the fall and taken out in the spring. Hardly ever on a wet road. Tells you something, doesn't it!...…..Bill S

Hi Gang, if anyone here at sYc buys this project car, I've got the perfect, literally and figuratively, NOS California Blue plate for it that I might sell FYI.

This thing is mint, save for one tiny mark under the D that is hardly noticeable but I'll mention. Nice wall hanger too.

Cheers all,
Anthony
