Default Z06

Bill,
Doesn't this Hemmings article show at least sales/ownership through 2016?

If any help w/ pre '67 history, this 1965 Ohio ad below for a '63 Tanker Coupe could be the subject vehicle?
Same seller has other 'Vettes + more cool car ads through the years also a later ad w/ possible address if you want to try pursuing anything.
Your buddy's cars sound great Crush, do you know where they were delivered new?

THe information in Hemmings. Mecum and Proteam was not able to confoirm the owner name prior to Fred Smith (i.e 1963 to 1966)
the guesses are one of
- - Charles Vranich? Sharpsville, PA
- George R. Vranich? Brookfield, OH
- Jim Vranich? Sharon (Hermitage), PA
- Joe Kuehl (Kuhel)? per Bob Ruth

I have e mailed Fred Smith to clarify

Default 1963 Z06 Tanker VIN 8672 30837S108672

fred smith says charles vranich was prior owner and car had air vent slots in rear as well as vents cut out on side of fenders

note in Z06 tanker ad for 1963 vet

PHONE number 299-2575

Ad both in Aug 27 1965 for car page 59 Dayton Daily News
Ad in Aug 28 1988 for house in Dayton Daily News

Note: house in Kettering Ohio located at corner of Schroyer & Bloomfield with 2 car garage + WORKSHOP
area code 937 – 2992575

There I found the listing for Byron W Weaver (wife Lou V), supervisor at White Baking, 100 E Dorothy Lane, Apt 2, Kettering

did he own car before Vranich ???????????????

Cool stuff and keep digging!
Here are four pre 1965 ads that may help w/ more clues, all are '63 Tankers also geographically close to Ohio.
Note the 04/64 Go-Power Becker Auto Sales ad Z-06 w/ Sebring Paint, are there other Silver '63 Tankers w/ Indiana history or anything known of the subject vehicle ever being there?
I have 25+ Midyear Tanker ads saved to post here in the Old Newspaper Ads thread but if you're involved w/ other Tanker guys,
grab some stars/join the SYC and I'd be happy to pass them on to a club member first.
Let us know if we can help any further and best of luck w/ your quest!

~ Pete
