Pure Stock Muscle Car Drag Races!!!!

For those of you in the Mid Michigan area, Sept 14th and 15th at Stanton, MI. 130+ of some of the coolest cars of the muscle car era running down the quarter mile as close to showroom condition as possible. Here is the link for the festivities Pure Stock Drags Friday is qualifying, Saturday is 2 of 3 shootout. Rob Clary with the Yellow Yenko Camero, the Simpson family with 3 cool bowties, Jimmy Johnson with his L88 Corvette, Bruno with ???? Jim Lerum with his LS6 Chevelle, myself with my '69 Hurst/ Olds and several others will be have the best time with your clothes on!!!

Darn, have yet another commitment on that day. It will have to once again wait till next year. All attending have fun and drive safe.

I'm commited too.

Commited to be at Stanton for Friday and Saturday that is!!

Something like 150 cars last year.

Pure Stock is the way to ROCK!!

Dan, if you went to Stanton *once*, you'd never miss it again...also, did you find a work truck? Did you see my post about the 2wd crew cab here in town??

It's a car show-drag race.Any car there could win at a car show.

Besides, I already hade my fun racing this summer at the FS/F.A.S.T race in Martin, MI and at SCR X.

I live 20 miles from the track, I went there the first year and never missed it since, i still remember 17 cars being there and the stands empty, last year there must have bean 200 cars there with close to 150 running the 1/4 mile, great time for sure, i hope to bring the 69 hurst olds this year but i dont think i will run it as it still has the factory tires, but i will run the judge, i look forward to seeing you there Rusty, Rich
