1997 Saturn SL1 Original Owner
Not sure where this would fit into the forums, but thought it was a neat car story if anything.
This little old lady that works with me (Gloria) had to take her 1997 SL1 off the road today. She bought it brand new and managed to rack up 416,000 rounds. The service shop told her the subframe/cradle was shot and too expensive (if not impossible) to replace.
Any ideas on what she should do with the car? She owns an old farm and she thought about putting it in the barn to rest. The mechanic told her to donate it to a school or something. Are there any other ideas? If Saturn was still around, it'd be a near piece for a dealership to showcase...
Her other two cars in her lifetime were a 76 Nova (died with 216k) and an 87 Nova (hit a deer with 180k).
Thanks, Nick
