So was the pinion yoke on this car painted black or natural steel originally?

Are there any stripes still visible on the driveshaft?

yoke was raw cast iron. driveshaft bare with orange, brown/tan, and purple/blue stripes from front to back and the u joints lined up with each other.

I look forward to watching the progress on this car. The other known COPO Camaro from Mac's is N661680 and body number NOR362851. Is this car close to that?

I have never seen the paint marks on the pig, does anyone know what each one signifies?
