All closed up for the next 5 months of frozen Hell. Unfortunately, we don't have a cover for the Chevelle.

Pulled the cover back and got the paint off of the waterneck. After a new pair of valve covers, I'll be proud to open the hood at car shows.

When you put new valve covers on it make sure to get photos of the casting numbers and dates of the heads!

Not sure why, since it's not even the original engine. 'Tis a 454. But I'll get pics. Will be quite a while though.

Alright, but it will be a while- Most likely won't happen until at least Spring. Unless you mean a pic of the casting number for the block. Then I can get that one up tomorrow, but the heads will be a while.

Based on the intake and hump on the front of the heads, I'm betting they are not truck heads.

This may be a stupid question, but once we get it running right, how much race fuel can it safely run? It ran real good with a gallon of 110 mixed with 93.

Going to pick up a timing tab today. Or order it, at least. Maybe I'll be able to get Dad to work on it tomorrow after it gets here.
