Default Re: "The Beater Bee" becomes "The Better Bee"

And here we are with the factory overspray look! I am using base/clear on the car, and that won't really look right when you try an overspray look. So I mixed a 50/50 ratio of base/clear and hardened to the clear specs for this. This resulted in a lower sheen, which is exactly the look I wanted. I also moved down the pans a little more on the inside since the HVLP guns of today don't really put out the volume and pressure that the guns of the past did. From survivor cars I've seen, the pattern goes a little further in that the HVLP gun would do. So I feathered the spray in further on the pans. I think I got close to it looking correct!!! Wheel wells on the Mopars really seemed to get a lot of paint. This area and the front inner fenders get good coverage. I also did thew lower front frame rails as well. I'll massk those off when I shoot the engine bay tonight with the proper base and clear. More to come!!!! It's getting there!!!!

Cheers
