Quadrajet What Do I Have
17054913 3551 Is this a Service Replacement? I don't understand the Julian Date.
When a date is later than the carb number is it automatically a replacement, such as 7040263 3225? 1970 carb with a 1975 build date (if I have that correct) Thanks for any help. |

Julian code is read last digit of the year then day of the year. 3225= 3=1973 225 is day of year I suppose it could be 1953,63,73 or 83

I was referring to the Julian code not the actual Quadrajet.

So in this case 7040263 3225 is a 1970 carb made in 1975?
