Default Original AC PF24 oil filter or repro?

I pulled this off the Firebird today and was wondering if it is a reproduction or an original AC filter from way back. (If so that worries me if it has been running the same oil filter for 40 years)

Thanks Norwood,
Any idea what vintage or are we talking an actual 1973 piece?

That's a real deal filter.
I think GM stopped using the embossed letters on the bottom of the filter around the mid 70's so you have a filter that is close to 40 years old.

I've got oil filters in my basement that I bought more than 10 years ago. He may have had a stash that he was working off of last time he changed the oil. Doesn't mean it's 40 year old oil.
