Default Corvette Brake Calipers

Who are people using for corvette Brake Calipers? I used Lone Star in Texas for years, but when I google Lone Star Brake calipers, it states the web site is under construction, SCARY.

Let me know of a reputable source you have recently used with great success. I have used White Post out east for Master Cylinders, so I may call them if needed.

Back in the day many of the Corvette folks around Chicago used these guys.

I would call Lonestar. I used them about two years ago. No issues.

Could just be revamping the website.

When I called Lonestar in 2020 I was told they are wholesale only and directed me to Muskegon Brake as a retail vendor.

One caliper was sent back three times for leaks (DOT 3), each time from a different piston ! I had to send it to Muskegon (Jeff IIRC) who sent it to TX and Lonestar would send it directly back to me.

Since Corvette calipers are done with O-ring seals (not available for 2.125 Chevelle bores) I wouldn't anticipate problems. - Bill W

I’ve used Lonestar several times always a great product. I purchased from them most times at the Carlisle Pa swap meets. I bring my cores with me and swap them out at the meets. Rob

Thanks Lynn,

Like I said I used them for 15 years or so through Robin Winnan @ Harmony Corvettes recommendation and never had a problem. The web sight now sends you to:
https://www.fullthrottlecorvette.com...fg_30-0-1.html.
Has anyone used these Guys. Looks like the Lone Star company merged with Full Throttle Corvette. I remember reading the founder at Lone Star died a few years ago? I just don't
want to play the "Leaky Caliper Game", I've been down that road and it is not pretty with cores going back and forth. Muskegon wants $199.00 each plus a core of $99.00 each. Full Throttle shows $119.00 for an "o" ring sealed caliper with a $95.00 core each.
Any input would be appreciated.

Bill

Have not dealt with Lonestar since the apparent merger; so, I am not much help.
