While on vacation last week in Honduras I met Bill White. He played for the Phillys, Cardinals,Giants, Yankees. Was announcer for the Yankees with Phil Rizutto for years and was National league President for years. Very nice guy. I didn't realize all he had done when I was talking to him. He said I resemble Dallas Green.

Where in Honduras were you? I live in San Pedro Sula and would have bought you dinner if you were here.

Don't get me wrong. I love the guy, his demeanor and attitude. $120 million for 5 years, a players option for the 6th, and a vesting option for year 7 is scary money for a pitcher who has averaged 13 wins and 11 loses the last 2 years, has one 20 win season, will be 33 at the start of next season, lost his 2 most important starts this year, and as of now his numbers are not hall of fame worthy. Baseball owners are out of their minds!

Sure as heck wish I had 3 pitches, threw 92 mph and could keep it down and on the corners....
