Default Part Number question 3982954

Could someone tell me what this GM Carbonator heat shield is for? The part number is 3982954

The 3982954 is truck big block only I think. 3964265 is big block chevelle with automatic. I can't see the other part number you have. There is one of these and maybe the second part you have listed in the classified section here for reference. See listing one or two pages back.
