BE Stamping
What do you guys think about this BE rearend stamping. The numbers look good but not too sure about the letters.

I love the assembly date stamp, but I don't have another "B" like that in my file - although I don't have an 0524 dated BE stamp to compare it to. 0519 is more common and a different "B".

Were the two E's stamped with the same stamp because they do look different

It matches a different 0524 stamp.

There were at least 2 different E stamps used throughout the year, but I believe that the same E stamp was used to mark the E in the BE and the lower E for Eaton Posi when G&A stamped each individual the rear. I thought that the Es on this one looked different too, but it's probably just the angle of the photo that makes them look that way. William & others have a lot bigger data base - so may have additional thoughts.

Keep in mind anytime a single stamp is used any slight angle on the stamp will make one area of the stamped letter slightly deeper, I have seen good BE's that people jump on and claim it looks like a BL that was modified. Important to compare known dates. JMO
