I know this is an old post and I found it doing a Google search on the Burman Dealership in Laramie Wyoming, but I recently acquired a 1967 Corvette 427/435 roadster that was purchased from this dealer and was interested if any information or memorabila ever turned up. I have the salesman's name, protecto-plate and some service records that came with the car but that's it. Any leads or help would be appreciated

A guy I work with grew up in Laramie and put me in touch with the guy who was the General Manager back in the 60's. He told me the story of the dealership and the owner Keith Burman. The salesman listed on my Pro-Tecto-Plate is Dick Powell. I learned that he was killed on a fishing trip with Keith Burman in the early 70's. Apparently they had trouble with a new GMC truck they were taking on the fishing trip (some how the switch between fuel tanks malfunctioned). While dealing with the issue Dick was struck by a passing car.

Keith sold the dealership in the 80's and it was renamed Laramie GM Auto Center. I am in process of gathering up some pictures and memorabilia from the dealership when it was called Burman Chevrolet.
