I believe that Jerry MacNeish was going to inspect that car. You might want to email him and see what he thinks.

Fantastic! That car is very deserving of the type of restoration that Frank and the SCW team performs.

The copy on the Russo Steel web site states "Believed to be one of seven Z11 L78 Convertibles left in existence" Is that statement correct? Only seven Z11 L78 Pace Cars left?

"Believed to be" is puffery.

No one knows how many were built, no one knows how many remain. From my 35 years of Camaro travels I know of two original owner 69s; an SS 396 and a Z11. Neither owner looks at any of the sites, belongs to a club or shows their car. Few others know of these cars. I'm sure there are many more unknown cars like these.

You IMHO the L78 Z11 might be the ultimate RPO Camaro that was available in 69. Coolest option, RS. Coolest colors, white with HO stripes and orange houndstooth. Coolest engine, L78! All that in a convertible.
