Yep, it's a flippers heaven right now, with the shortage of vehicles.
A few months back, the local Acura dealer sent us a postcard wanting to buy my wife's 2007 TSX. We had it in for a warranty service several years ago and I guess they took a stab at us still having it. TOP DOLLAR, was the headline. Just for fun, I called them and asked what top dollar was going to be for a 13 yr old car with 132k on it. Salesman said "wow, that's low mileage for it's age and if it's still really clean, we can go up to $3,300". I told him the car still looked and smelled like new, which it does, but he was about 37k short on his offer. There was a few moments of silence and he said "what do you mean" ?? I asked what a new replacement model would cost and he replied " about 40k. I said there ya go, that car is worth 40k to us, since it's still in pristine condition and we have no desire to sell it. See-ya' bye.

Bought a '75 Blazer project for $500. A Z/28 in the same condition would have been 30k+.

I've got a barn full of them just waiting for me to do a hacktacular restoration on them.
