Default 1967 gold interior

I need help in finding the correct color for a gold 1967 Camaro dash pad. Vendors are trying to sell metallic gold paint, but from pictures I`ve seen it looks more like a tan color. Maybe close to the seat belt plastic color. Can anyone help. Thanks George 708 489 0986

George, talk to Chris piscitello. His name on this site is sir-vivor. If you google the bat car 1967 Camaro you'll see the first storyline on the car. You'll see inside interior pics of the interior. If that doesn't help pm him and he'll get you in the right direction. Do you still have the triple blue l78 conv? I think you're the one I was thinking of

I had a 1967 Camaro with a gold interior a long time ago and I have some pictures from a California car I looked to at to purchase a few years ago. Gold standard interior. Some good interior pictures. I can forward them to you if you would like. The dash and dash pad are a flatter color as GM and regulators were moving toward flatter colors for safety from reflection. Definitely not gloss or metallic and I believe pretty close to the metal color on the dash and top of doors. You might want to start with that trim color and see how it looks on a sample piece. Perhaps a local paint supplier can mix you up a rattle can of vinyl dye. Might take a few trys to get it to your satisfaction but would likely be fairly inexpensive.

Search on this site for the pictures of Chris P. 1967 4K Camaro "The Batcar". It is a gold interior car and there is a good pic of the interior when it was in Sherman's shop.
