Stunning '67 Mercury Monterey #s 428/4-sp Convertible, 1 of 10
Pretty scarce car to say the least. Simple styling but just a stately car with the top dog powertrain combo. Great docs, too - and sold new at University Motors in Boulder - still has the dealer emblem on the decklid.
I find it interesting that the 4-speed trans cost was nearly 3x the cost of the 428 option. Link to 1967 428/4-sp Marauder Convertible auction 7Z45Q609103 |

Wouldn't the car show better in the ad with a few top down pics?

Just think of the single tire burnout that thing could do on Charley's driveway
