Heading down for Nascar race in April , looking to play a little golf cheap courses in scottsdale area ?

Cheap and Scottsdale don't exactly mix...What are you looking to pay? I can ask around....(I live in AZ.)

Dave - Define cheap. Most of the Scottsdale courses will be above $85 in April. There are some nice courses within 30 minutes of Scottsdale that drop into the $45-50 range. If you haven't already signed up on golfnow.com it is a good place to find discount tee times in various states, etc. They usually have tee times about 7 days in advance on the website at discounts ranging from 5 - 30%.
