Beautiful car, well done. Love the wheels and tires and stance.
Here is my friends 409 4 x2. original car with original paint and interior. Yes original paint. My friend bought it in 1966 from the original owner. I think it had 400--500 miles on it and it sat because the original owner spun a bearing the first or second year he owned it. My friend added the Ford dump truck scoop, Cragars and Jardine white fenderwell headers etc back in 67-69 era. Had SW gauges inserted into dash panel-looked stock. He sold in the mid 2000's B-J run up craze. Current owner put it all back to 100% stock dog dish and all. Ruined it. Last edited by whitetop; 11-30-2020 at 07:46 PM. |

Very nice!
I have a '62 hardtop and pie crust slicks and I have to drop the shocks to get the axle far enough down to get them in the fender well too. Those quarter panels drop down quite low at the wheel opening.

I saw this car at the very first Super Chevy Show at Joliet back in 1998. It looked exactly as it does now. That's the only time I ever saw it and I've wondered what happened to it. Is it an original 409/409 car?
