Nice car! IMO it needs the rallysport package to fetch that kind of money, $88k

I agree...an absolutely beautiful car but a bit on the pricey side I think.

I see absolutley nothing wrong the price. However, you'll need more pics than that if you want to fetch it. Good looking Z.

They state it is a ZL2 cowl hood car but the Canadian Docs do not show ZL2 anywhere... it would be one of the earlier non COPO cars to have ZL2... if it is a real ducted hood car.
The car is beautiful and I love the dlx blue Guts... very nice change over the std blk~

I can't remember when the ZL2 hood came into play... would a 12E or 01A car be too early to begin with ? Also , I thought the stripes were inccorect at the rear of the car but the docs don't show D80 so for a added spoiler package they would be correct. Nice car... sounds like there is a story though with a potentially long beard

You are close with the time frame for a Z/28 with the duct hood. I think they were out late November 68 but didn't hit the Z's till later. Not all cars had the D80 on the trim tag that received the spoilers I believe.

Canadian docs always show D80 or ZL2 accordingly. If it isn't on the sheet, it wasn't on the car from the factory. No exceptions.
