Default Rusty '70 Chevelle #s SS396 L78/4-sp, Build Sheet, POP

Killer car...and right in my backyard, would love to hear the back story on this one. Sold new at Carl Schmidt in Perrysburg, OH.

Default 70 Chevelle...

What a shame it was allowed to get this far gone...it would take a lot of work and love to bring it back. Born with driveline and docs are a big plus...4.10 gear is very cool. It doesn't say anything about the frame and under carriage...looks like it was sitting for a long time. Is that a piece of the POP above the build sheet??

I agree the back story would be interesting...

Purchase and part out car. IMO just to much cost involved to restore this car.

Car has a lot going for it and a fair price for a 70 real motor L78 with build sheet.

How can someone buy a car for that kinda money and come out ahead parting it out... not unless you're including the tags and documentation in the value of the proceeds.

No kidding, it's not worth buying period for that kind of money and IMO its way overpriced. Car might be worth 10,000 dollars in factory original parts alone for restoration parts. No pics of frame, the key.

Someone in a FB group had contacted the seller, and apparently the car is in need of a replacement frame to go along with the obvious sheet metal needs.

Yes i personally thought without frame pictures it was hard to say what worth this car had too. Sounds like a ton of issues starting with the frame.

The frame and sheet metal replacements wouldn’t mean anything if it was a convertible.
