Default Just saw this in Old Cars Weekly

Probably old news here but I didn't see anything on it (sorry I mostly lurk) but this would have been a neat find!
http://www.depereautocenter.com/

Evidently a Donald Schlag hoarded cars and GM hi-po parts including one, possibly two Yenkos, two LS6 Chevelles, and a ton of BBCs! (heck, I would have been happy with the 1967 RS/SS!)

The link is pics of some of his new finds...Tutenkamen's tomb was NOTHING!

First person that hit my mind is Heartbeat Jimmy.....I can just imagine how certain people must be going absolutely crazy, trying to get a piece of this action. I would invest money into buying some of this, but will never have the connections to do so.
I hope we can hear much more on this story, as the details unfold........

My mouth hit the floor after seeing the cars...
But the parts and engines he has must be worth double what the cars are worth...

That is just plain sick! Even the guy taking the pictures is so excited he can't hold the camera steady. What a gold mine that may take years to inventory. It would be interesting to get a list of engine VINs to see how many cars might be reunited with their engines.

Those photos are absolutely hypnotic and I bet that was a nice little surprise when the Chevelle trunks were opened. This was one heck of a 401K plan for someone's retirement.

Anyone else notice the yellow engine block on the floor?

Pretty awesome discovery.

I heard about this stuff 2months ago. The guy passed away and his sister sold everything to one guy. I was told the first trailer they opened, had a yenko camaro and 2 ls6 chevelles. The guy welded the doors shut because some trailer had been broke into at one time and that is why it took them a wwhile to get inside. I had a hard time believing that this was real, but now i see the pictures and know it is true!
