Default Awesome video of Dry Ice blasting capabilities

Denzel Washington's '97 Porsche 911 Turbo is BaT. Beautiful example and props to him for driving manual.

I noticed the preservation/detail video of the car and thought it was too good not to share. I have no experience with Dry Ice Blasting but after watching this, I'm hooked. Take a look at how the media removes dirt/grime/build up on all surfaces without damaging the original finish - no residue on plating, paint, plastic, metal, rubber, etc. Pretty amazing stuff.

Enjoy,
Dan

I have thought carefully about investing in that for my shop. My biggest deterrent is the dust and mess it creates.

I didn't realize they use it on the plastics too. That pin point tool is cool. I wonder how many hours they spent.

Detail shop work is beyond incredible....wonder what the cost for that was? Car probably looks better than when it was new.

There are some pics before and after dry ice blasting on my 69Z. It took off all the Zebart under coating and never hurt the over spray on the floor pans!! We used over 600 pounds of dry ice and cost me $2500 and was well worth it . But just remember it make a Hugh mess ! The dry ice turns into CO2 but the Zebart was all over the place. Should be done outside. Joe
