It is a 57 57 X44 car...
It has black Blx interior and all the cowl induction stuff... the emblems on the rear are backwards... the Yenko and the 427 are swapped one for the other...

[ QUOTE ]
Here is some talk about the stolen cars:

Guys,

Remember.......... they stole two race rigs two weeks ago. One in S.Carolina and the other from a motel in Commerce. (NMCA race)

The "it won't happen to me" thinking is naive.

We must have a system to disable the tow rig. With all the smart heads out here you surely can do kill switches, pull fuel pump relay removal, etc.

These thieves know who you are and where you're going, etc.

Think about it.

[/ QUOTE ]

I use layered protection. It already saved my Rig back in 2005.

I use this on the trailer: http://www.carrythebigstick.com/

I hate hearing this. I think I saw this car at a cruise-in in Greenville at a Chevy dealership. Nice looking car. There have been quite a few cars stolen from the Year One Experience in Brasselton Ga over the last few years.

Guys, always disable your trucks when parking them w/the trailers. Whether it be ignition or fuel. By the time these a$$holes realize it after peeling the column or doing whatever it is to get the trucks started they will get baffled/frustrated and most likely leave..

Another system worth checking into is LOWJACK. This system really does work. A very small transponder is hidden on the car somewhere and uses very little battery power. When the vehicle is stolen the owner notifies LOWJACK and the Law Enforcement Agencies. Then the signal is broadcasted from the transponder and Police units with the LOWJACK receivers will pick up the signal and can track the vehicle down to its exact location whether its mobile or parked.... It can even track the vehicle down if it is inside of a trailer either moving or stationery. Also if the vehicle is hidden inside a building the signal will still be broadcasted and can be picked up.

Of course nothing is 100% thief proof. I live by the old saying, "if they want it bad enough, their gonna get it." But if you can "screw with their plans", then why the hell not...

Rich

Right about now I'd be thinking about setting up a sting at the next big car show. Get some guys that are hidden out of site with some cars that are not locked and or trucks that are left unlocked with the trailer with car, so there is less breakin damage. Once the guys hop into the car/or truck to steal, nab them, beat the living $%@* out of them before the police arrive. Once this sting is heard of going on at shows, the thugs won't know whether they are being watched and may think twice about going to shows.

Just kind of funny that this car was stolen when just about 5 weeks prior it was involved in a wreck just down the road from the owners house.....totaled out was what was said about the car. Now it is stated that it was "rotisirie restored super super nice car", how could that be when it was just wrecked?!?!? Yea I know I just signed up on here and who am I....just a lurker who just happens to know a thing or two. Travelers Rest is a small town....and someone has a pic of the car on their phone. Two words....Insurance Fraud !!!

Yes this is true, this guy has done this before. How about this....check out this ebay item, bet he had this planned for the "extra" car that now needs a title. Same guy, #250298868886.
