Nice original paint '70 Chevelle #s SS396/4-sp
This looks like a neat car...sold new @ Rudolph Chevrolet in El Paso. Needs some freshening underhood and inside, but very cool and unmolested overall. $50k seems like a stretch to me, but I'll be watching this one until the end.

This Rudolph chevrolet was in Phoenix Az not El paso. Rudolph became Lou Grub which sold out to autonation which moved the dealership from its I17/camelback location which it would of been at in 1970. just fyi.

This is exactly how I want to find them! If is was a '67 I'd be looking further.
I would hope that any freshening would be limited to careful cleaning and preservation. Would be nice to know what the milage is, those floors are incredible!! If the description is accurate I don't see the asking being out of line. |

Looks like the vinyl top was either replaced or possibly added at some point. I don’t see a photo of the trim tag to tell if it originally had a vinyl top, and I don’t see it written on the dealer invoice?
That Black Cherry paint has held up really well. You don’t find ‘em like this very often... and with cowl induction and a 4-speed! Thanks for posting Tony.

Lists “white vinyl top” on the dealer doc.

I missed that. So it’s been replaced... Thanks.

,
Looks more than worthy also hard not to love the color too! Rudolph Chevrolet probably rings a bell to some here being the El Paso location was the delivering/campaigning dealer of Frank Sanders '63 Z11. The only Azure Aqua Z11 built, it was both 1963 National and Winternational Champion also the first stock drag car to exceed 120 Mph in the Quarter mile. Besides his drag racing accomplishments, Frank Sanders was founder of S&S Headers also an early Warbird restorer/racer but sadly killed in a 1990 accident piloting his T-33. The car may've traded hands since but was offered @ Kissimmee 2018 w/ no sale bids & 325. ~ Pete .
